Carbon Twisting

Situation:
A major supplier of 3-dimensional advanced composite preforms was having a difficult time inserting carbon fibers into a particular design.

Results:
Concordia developed a process for inserting low levels of highly controlled twist into carbon fibers which made the carbon much easier to handle and did not degrade its performance.
